| All of the tomatoes, most of the eggplant, most of the peppers and all of the other things for the summer garden are in the cold frame or completely hardened off. Nighttime temperatures have been in the mid-40s so its not time to plant yet, but I think next weekend is the time to plant. The tomatoes are switching beds to the north side of the garden this year, and the eggplants and peppers will fill in to the south as space becomes available. Today I gave all the mid-growth plants and the fruit trees a soaking with kelp extract, fish emulsion and bat guano mixed in water. The lemon tree by the house has little blossom buds on it that hopefully will flower and fruit without falling off like they have done in the past. | ||||
